My Dream Nursery Series | Best nursery finds & faves vol. 1

Creating the perfect space for your baby to thrive is filled with tons of small details that all add up to a big impact on your child's development, happiness, and well-being. Creating a space that is safe for your little one, functional for you, and beautiful to look at can be challenging -- especially if this will be your little one’s home for the next few years. With so many different elements to consider, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel like you have nothing but errands and chores ahead of you. However, with some thoughtfully curated shopping lists and inspiration from trusted sources we trust, anyone can create a space that feels like home in no time. Do you dream of having the perfect nursery for your little one? Here are my best finds and all-time faves to help you achieve that goal!

White Cribs

White cribs are a classic way to ensure that your baby’s bedding looks good from day one. There’s no need to worry about bedding matching the crib or changing with the changing table, because white makes it easy to coordinate all of your baby’s gear. White is also the most popular color for new parents, so you can be sure that your new addition will fit in with the rest of your family right away. Finally, a white crib will look great in photos once your baby starts crawling around. White backgrounds are especially flattering when you’re trying to capture a sweet moment on film!

Dressers for Nurseries

Baby’s wardrobe is one of the first areas that need to be set up and organized, but it’s also a constant challenge to keep things clean and looking fresh. For this reason, it is important to invest in a good quality baby dresser or changing table for nursery. These items will give you the space and organization you need to keep everything in order. You will also want to choose a dresser that is made with durable materials so that it can last through the years. You may also want to consider having a mobile changing station available in your nursery so that you can quickly move your baby around when needed. This will help keep your baby comfortable and reduce the risk of injury.

Mini Cribs

Mini cribs are made with thinner metal or wood panels. They also have shorter sides and shorter rails that sit closer to the floor. They’re easier to climb out of than standard cribs, but they’re still sturdy enough to hold a baby securely. Mini cribs are popular because they’re small and lightweight. They make it easy for parents to move the baby from place to place. Mini cribs can be used for babies up to about six months old. Most mini cribs can be converted into toddler beds once your baby outgrows them. They’re also easy to convert from one style to another if you decide you want something different later on in your child’s life.

Rugs for Nurseries

There are special rugs designed just for babies. These include super soft rugs that are gentle on baby's sensitive skin and rugs made from microfiber so they're easy to clean. There are also rugs with built-in toys that keep your baby entertained while you're at work or out for coffee. If you don't want to buy a new rug for the nursery, you can simply add a throw blanket or comforter to create instant cozy space. Washable rugs like microfiber are great because they can be thrown into the washing machine when dirty. Non-washable rugs like sheepskin are best for cold floors because it retains heat better than other materials.

5) Rocking Chairs & Gliders for Nurseries

A glider rocker is a great way to keep your baby happy while you get things done around the house. It can also be used as a play area for older babies and toddlers, so it's definitely worth considering if you have older children in the house. One of the best things about gliders is that they are relatively inexpensive. Another advantage of gliders is that they can be used both inside and outside of the nursery. This means that you don't have to worry about damaging your furniture when your baby starts crawling around the room. Gliders are also very versatile. They can be used in both a reclining and non-reclining position, which gives you plenty of options when it comes to positioning your baby in the right position for sleep or playtime. And because they're lightweight, they can be moved around easily as your baby grows, so you won't have to buy multiple gliders over time just because your little one keeps growing out of one chair after another!

I hope you enjoyed it, see you in the next series.
