How to Style a Console Table

1) Pick your main piece
First of all, let’s begin with the center of the console. Place an object like a mirror to act as the main piece of your decoration. Nowadays there are a lot of different options when it comes to mirrors: you can choose one that has an ornated frame in a color that matches the room, or maybe go for a fun shaped mirror that also works as a statement piece for your table. This will work as a pillar, by helping you build and define the rest of the decoration of this piece of furniture.
2) Think about lightning
And now, you should think about the lighting of the console table. Light fixtures such as a table lamp or a sconce mounted on your wall will help add a dash of warmth to the room. The subtle lighting will also make the room feel much more cozier! Keep in mind that there are different temperatures of lightbulbs that you can get: ideally, you should get one that is neutral or warm, but stray away from the daylight ones since they are too crisp and will not be as cozy as other light colors.
3) Incorporate books
I recommend that you also experiment with different heights for the lightning. You can do this by adding books and placing a small lamp on top.
